sundering or furious
I currently have a sundering 10/9 on my hammer and was wanting to replace it with a furious haft so that my adren skills charge fatser. But, how much fatser do skills charge with a furious upgarde (is it noticeable) and how much dmg per hit will i lose without the sundering. (i have done searches, and ppl say sundering does nothing but is it true?)

I would think that Sundering works like Strength. The more armor the target has, the more effective it is. But, unless you need a great deal of Adrenilene, I'd stick with the Sundering.

well with hammer elite earh shaker it takes 10 adren, and many other take 4-7, so im wondering how much faster they would all charge with a perfect furious upgrade so i wouldnt have to wait half way through a battle to use it.

Keep sundering i never liked the furious, maybe once they get to 15% or higher it will be worth it, untill then sundering all the way

sundering isnt worth it at all, it is about +.25 dps against a 60 armor foe, and mabye +1 DPS vs a warrior. furious charges your hammer skills faster, and skills are the most important part of guildwars. i wuold definitly go with a furious

sundering gives roughly 15% more damage, 10% of the time. Which averages out to 1.5% more damage. So yeah, almost worthless.
Furious I only like on hammers, because every strike of adrenaline counts. If you get that hammer bash 1.75 seconds earlier (and by extension, 10% more often), its a huge effectiveness boost. On other weapons, there are better ways to gain adren, but then again I like zealous on non-hammers. |

Yeah Sundering is the most over rated over priced mod on the market imo,I was trying to sell a 10/9 sundering string and got flooded with offers over 40k,I picked one out of the bunch and hooked him up for 20k,as for furious,I can def tell a difference with it,Furious is better than sundering imo

I have a furious War Hammer that I need to sell, would I be better off expert salvaging for the upgrade or selling the whole weapon (dmg is only 26)? Also how much do you think the upgrade's worth?

Neither. Furious is negligible and sundering will add only a measly +1% damage.
You want Vampiric +5/-1 or elemental damage. Last edited by FrogDevourer; Aug 09, 2005 at 12:23 PM // 12:23.. |
